Lugar singular
Next to the Plaza de España, an open space designed for recreation, stands the Mercado de Abastos, built in the modernist style between 1927 and 1929, a building whose central core, with a square plan, is juxtaposed by two rectangular wings, and in which its two opposing facades stand out, decorated with plasterwork, capitals and volutes.
