Following the Holy Mass, which began at 7:00 p.m. and the traditional Ash Wednesday service, the ceremony honoring the award-winning organization took place. The president of the Board of Passionate Brotherhoods of Cieza, Mr. Joaquín Diego Gómez Rubio, presented them with a plaque in recognition of their courage and dedication to the safety of the people of Cieza. Ginesa Martínez Villa, a member of the Board, emphasized the commitment of the Civil Protection volunteers, symbolized by the "flame of the candles from the eighteen Brotherhoods and Fraternities of Cieza, representing the tireless work of the volunteers".

The ceremony, which officially began the Lenten celebrations in Cieza, concluded around 8:00 p.m.
