The Board of Passionate Brotherhoods of Cieza deeply regrets the passing of Francisco Marín Fernández, president of the Royal Brotherhood of "Nuestra Señora de Gracia y Esperanza" in the early 1980s.
His appointment as Nazarene of the Year in 2016 was more than deserved, this good man, a devoted lover of Holy Week processions, became one of the first "Sons of Mary" when, in 1975, he founded the Brotherhood, along with his brother and other young people, and later served as its president.
"I believe there is a secret and subtle thread between Holy Week and our daily lives that helps us cope with life".
May he rest in peace.
