Mr. Manuel Verdú Moreno will be the herald of the Holy Week of Cieza 2026

Father Manuel Verdú Moreno was born in Cieza on April 4, 1976. He studied Theology at the University of Salamanca and later earned a degree in Historical Theology from the Faculty of Theology at the University of Valencia.

After being ordained a priest in 2004 at the age of 28 in the Basilica of "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción" in Cieza, and always guided by his priestly ordination motto, "Lord, here I am, take me wherever you will, but come with me," he currently serves as parish priest in Torre Pacheco and as Episcopal Vicar in the "Campo de Cartagena" region.
