The festivities will begin the day before, Saturday the 22nd. The image will be displayed for veneration in front of its chapel so that any faithful who wish to do so may approach and offer their prayers and supplications. Likewise, during this time, a food drive will be held for those most in need. Baskets will be placed at the foot of the image where donations of non-perishable food items can be deposited. The veneration and food drive will take place during the church's opening hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On Sunday the 23rd, the events will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a Solemn Religious Function in honor of the Solemnity of Christ the King. Following the service, at 11:00 a.m., the Procession of Supplication will commence. The image of "Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno" will once again cross the threshold of the Basilica of the Assumption to visit the sick of the parish. Anyone who wishes may carry the image on their shoulders, and it will be accompanied by the "Medina Siyasa" Musical Group from our town. The procession route will be announced soon.
