The "Santísima Virgen del Buen Suceso" now dwells in her Hermitage

Last weekend, the final events in honor of "Nuestra Señora la Santísima Virgen del Buen Suceso" for the month of September took place, culminating in the traditional Pilgrimage from the Basilica of "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción".

Thousands of pilgrims accompanied the Patron Saint along the route following the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, after which the Sacred Image set off toward her dwelling between the Castle and the "Atalaya", as her hymn sings.

Around 11:30 am, she arrived at her Sanctuary, and after a prayer for the souls of all the people of Cieza, the Virgin bade farewell to her Cieza children amidst prayers, applause, and emotional cheers, a testament to the immense affection the town of Cieza holds for its Patron Saint, who now awaits in her chapel to receive the thoughts and prayers of her people.
