The
"Aurelio Guirao" Auditorium is integrated into the "Géneros de
Punto" Cultural Center, which is the result of the remodeling of one of
the buildings that made up an old textile factory. This remodeling was carried
out in 1986 by the municipal architect Doña Rufina Campuzano Banegas. Its
official inauguration took place on May 20, 1987.

the cultural and literary development of Cieza. Poet, playwright, translator of
Occitan poets, painter, and above all Friend. He was a member of the Literary
Magazine 'La sierpe y el Laúd' from 1981 until his death in 1996.
