On the Cieza Watchtower hill is the hermitage dedicated to the Virgen del Buen Suceso, patron saint of the city, which was built in 1962 on the initiative of Dr. Serra Peña. From the place where the temple is located, you get a beautiful panoramic view of Cieza, the Segura river and the plain. In the month of September, the residents of the town come to this temple to take the image of the Virgin in pilgrimage to the church of the Assumption, to bring it back a week later.
