Last weekend, specifically on the 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th of January, a delegation of 42 people, with representatives of the Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods of Holy Week in Cieza headed by the Board of Passionate Sisters with its president, Mr. Joaquín D. Gómez Rubio and his consiliary, D. José Antonio García López, in the lead, traveled to the Sicilian city of Trapani to confirm the official signing in a first phase of the Twinning between the Unione Maestranze di Trapani and the ciezana entity.

One of the main acts was the Presentation of Holy Week in Cieza, carried out by the president and the chaplain, where several videos with characteristics and peculiarities of Holy Week in Cieza were shown. The other was the official signing of the Twinning, carried out before the Bishop of Trapani, Msgr. Pietro Maria Fragnelli.

On Friday, upon arrival in Trapani, the Ciezan Nazarene delegation was received by their Bishop. Later, in the Church of the Holy Souls in Purgatory, with the presence of the Vicar General of the Diocese Rev. D. Alberto Maria Genovese, an offering of flowers was made to the Image of L'Addolorata and the exhibition "United for the Passion”.

The central day of the acts was Saturday. First, a procession took place with the two delegations, from the Church of the Holy Souls in Purgatory to the D'Ali Palace. After that, and before the Presentation, there was a reception by the Mayor D. Giacomo Tranchida and the Municipal Corporation of Trapani. In the afternoon, at the headquarters of the Italian entity, there was an Official Reception with an exchange of various gifts. Next, a Holy Mass was celebrated, officiated by the Bishop of Trapani. At the end, the Twinning Act was carried out with the signature of the two entities and the delivery of the symbol that the Unione Maestranze will carry in the processions; The day concluded with a concert by various musical bands.

On Sunday and Monday, several cultural visits were made to Palermo and Erice, being received in the second city by its mayoress Mrs. Daniela Toscano.
