Decision of the XXXI Easter Photography Contest of Cieza 2019

The Board of Passionate Brotherhoods of Cieza announced this Saturday night the jury's decision on the XXXI Easter Photography Contest in Cieza, with which the posters for Easter Week in Cieza 2019 were chosen. Ramón Morcillo Valero, with a snapshot of the titular passage of the Brotherhood of San Pedro, won the first prize, endowed with 500 euros and the edition of the photograph as an advertising poster for Holy Week in Cieza 2019. Morcillo also won the second prize in the contest with a picture of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows, from the brotherhood of the same name, which will illustrate the guide to acts and processions.

The 300 euros of the third prize went to a sheet of the Oración del Huerto whose author is Antonio Ortiz Abellán and which will serve as an announcing poster for the events of the Easter proclamation, while Pedro Lucas managed, endowed with 200 euros, to win the award in the Popular Category, which rewards the photograph that the jury deems best represents the popular sense of the Ciezan processions, declared of National Tourist Interest.

The event was attended by, among others, the mayor, Pascual Lucas; the president of the Board of Brotherhoods, and presidents and representatives of the different ciezanas brotherhoods.
