Yesterday at noon, after the Holy Mass, in the Convent of “San Joaquín y
San Pascual”, Dr. Emiliano Fernández Villalba proclaimed to his people the
Proclamation of Lent 2024. Always organized by the Brotherhood of the “Santísimo
Cristo del Perdón y Santísima Virgen del Amor Hermoso”, on the morning of the
first Sunday of Lent.
With his sights set on the founding of the Brotherhood, Dr. Emiliano Fernández once again remembered with affection and emotion that year 2015 in which he was the preacher of Holy Week in Cieza. Throughout his life he will always be grateful for this appointment.
As an end to an emotional morning, the Municipal Band of Cieza delighted those present with a concert of processional marches, where the always outstanding note was with the bars of Gómez Villa from "El Cristo del Perdón". Banner of ciezana processional music and with the Lord of the Convent as a witness in tis chapel.
