“Today I cannot raise my voice from the ambo of the Church to announce your Holy Week. Today I cannot announce out loud the imminent arrival of your most precious celebration.
These are difficult times for me and for the entire Nazarene family, for not being able to show in the streets the work and effort, enthusiasm and desire that you put in throughout the year to turn Cieza into the city of your dreams.
These are moments to celebrate from the privacy of our homes, with faith and devotion, as a family, the main moments of the Passion. Jesus and Mary will not go out in procession this year, but today more than ever, they must be close to our hearts.
Those words that I had prepared to say to you today now become words of encouragement and encouragement for all those affected by this pandemic that has us all with a broken soul.
I keep the illusion intact, with the hope of being able to dedicate my Proclamation to you next Easter.
A hug to all the Nazarene family of Holy Week in Cieza”.
