Javier Ramos Guardiola, Town Crier for Holy Week in Cieza 2023

Javier Ramos Guardiola, a "ciezano" born in 1980, graduated in Management and Public Administration from the University of Murcia in 2002; He is also director of leisure and free time at the "Javier Azagra" School of leisure and free time.

From 2002 to 2007 he developed his work activity in banking and social and market studies company. From 2007 to this day, he works in the health sector as an administrator in the Pharmacy service of the "Hospital de la Vega Lorenzo Guirao" in Cieza. He reconciles his work activity with other non-profit activities of a voluntary nature. For several years he collaborated on a one-off basis in free time monitor courses organized by the "Javier Azagra" School of Leisure and Free Time, as well as in the management of socio-charitable activities in different non-profit associations.

He is a member of the Diocesan Center for Youth Ministry of the diocese of Cartagena during the years 2011 and 2014. For 10 years he directed and starred in the musical "Jesús continues to die today", taking the work during the Lenten season to many towns in the Region of Murcia and other communities such as Castilla-La Mancha or Andalusia. The "Cofradía de La Samaritana" recognized the group as Samaritans of the year in 2019.

He is a member of the Pastoral Council of the Parish of "Cristo del Consuelo" of Cieza, holding the position of vice president since the year 2000; He is also a member of the choir and youth ministry agent, accompanying groups of young people and adults in said parish. For three years, between 2019 and 2021, he was responsible for the youth sector in the Diocesan Commission for General Catholic Action in the Diocese of Cartagena. He collaborates at the national level with General Catholic Action in projects of first proclamation and evangelization.

Regarding the relationship with our Holy Week, he mentions that he is not currently a brother of any brotherhood in Cieza, but that he was as a child and when he was younger. Even so, he collaborates with the "Junta de Hermandades" and with different brotherhoods at specific times when his collaboration is requested.

He is a lover of Holy Week in Cieza for its singular beauty.
