Led by the moderator José María Cámara Salmerón, we were able to get to know the figure of this mature image maker from Murcia, who is about to retire and close his workshop.

With infinite simplicity and clarity in the exhibition of his work, this is how Hernández Navarro showed himself to all the attendees, creating very beautiful and enriching moments of dialogue between the sculptor and the attendees in the room. As simple as he is, so are his "simple" works and he showed the reason for that simplicity. He moves away from the great ornamentation and baroque style, to stay with the simplicity in his carvings. As he himself said at one point in the gathering: "the works, the images, must be instruments to create Faith, not to have Faith in them."
