PRESENTATION OF EL ANDA MAGAZINE AND TRIBUTE TO THE NAZARENE OF THE YEAR

On the afternoon of Saturday, March 23, the new edition of the magazine EL ANDA, published by the Board of Passionate Brotherhoods of Cieza, was presented. To begin with, and as has become traditional, the event opened with the projection of the spot for Easter 2019, which can already be seen on the different social networks.

Converted into one of the longest-lived magazines in the Region of Murcia within the scope of Holy Week -since it is already in its 81st edition- this era was presented at the Lolita Marín auditorium by two of the members who are part of its work commission, Juan Fernández and Enrique Centeno. In an original way, through a dialogue between a grandfather and a grandson who love Holy Week, the different sections that appear in this new edition were broken down.

It is a magazine where we can read and, above all, look -with more than 300 graphic documents-, moments of our past and present Holy Week. Its articles will show us various chapters of interest to all lovers of our big week, tributes to those people who have been making it grow, as well as articles of a different nature that will recount the highlights of Holy Week in Ciez.

Another of the important moments of the afternoon was dedicated to the figure of the Nazarene of the year 2019, Mr. Antonio Lucas Parra. There were several people who dedicated a few words of gratitude to him for his work and work towards his brotherhood, that of the Stmo. Christ of Agony, as well as Holy Week in Cieza in general through a video that was projected at the event. But it was the photographs of bygone times and the words of his family that managed to move the Nazarene on this day when the Nazarenes of Cieza have wanted to recognize him with this appointment.

The president of the Junta de Hermandades Pasionarias presented him with the gold insignia of Holy Week, as well as inviting him to leave his signature in the golden book of the same; In addition, he was given a commemorative plaque of said appointment. The first detail of the Nazarene lord of the year was towards those brothers and sisters who are no longer with us, but who have helped to make Holy Week greater, asking all those present for a minute of silence for the memory of all of them and they. Tres este, he addressed those present with some simple but very heartfelt words to thank him for the honor of having been named Nazarene of the year 2019.

The act ended with the location for next Sunday, April 7, where D. Antonio Morales Balsalobre, will announce Holy Week in the Basilica of the Assumption.
