Presentation of the Holy Week of Cieza 2022

During the afternoon of Saturday, March 5, the "Junta de Hermandades Pasionarias" of Cieza presented the poster announcing our Passion Week, in addition to the different posters announcing the Proclamation, The Arrest and the processions of the Stmo. Christ of the Blood, of the Children of Mary, of Silence and of the Descent of Christ into hell.

Starting at 6:00 p.m., the "Junta de Hermandades Pasionarias" together with the eighteen Brotherhoods that form it, showed the House-Museum of Holy Week in Cieza and the different Houses of Brotherhood to the presenter of Holy Week, the composer from Granada Víctor Manuel Ferrer Castillo. Then, at 7:00 p.m. in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption, the Holy Mass was held for the deceased brothers of Holy Week.

After the Holy Eucharist, under an emotional presentation by Víctor Manuel Ferrer, the various posters announcing Holy Week in Cieza, the Holy Week Proclamation and the processions on Holy Monday, Holy Tuesday, the afternoon and early morning of Holy Thursday and the early morning of Glory Saturday. After the presentation, the president of the "Junta de Hermandades Pasionarias", D. Joaquín D. Gómez Rubio, gave the presenter a souvenir of the act, signing the latter in the book of honor of Holy Week in Cieza.

The Presentation concluded with a concert of processional marches by the saxophone quartet "Sordium Quartet", interpreting the marches "Oremos", "A ti Manué", "Osanna in Excelsis", "Penitente Ciezano" and "Mi amargura".
