This past Friday
the 15th, a weekend began in the history of Holy Week in Cieza... At 7:30 p.m.,
in the Parish of "Santo Cristo del Consuelo", the Holy Mass began in suffrage
for the souls of the deceased brothers of the Brotherhood of "San Pedro Apóstol".
After the religious ceremony, the Brotherhood paid a small tribute to Francisco Manuel Benedicto Pérez de Lema. A good man with a noble heart, a person who always wanted, wants and will want the best for Saint Peter, and a processionist who would do anything so that the "Saints" are on the street. Deserved Nazarene of the Year in 2022, his life close to the fisherman of Bethsaida is written in letters of gold, along with that of other great brothers.
At the end of the event, the Processional Transfer of "San Pedro" began, a prelude to the beginning of everything. A weekend that began and would not end until the samaritan dreams and the proclamation of María Dolores García Lucas saw the light.
