This Sunday, April 3, at 1:00 p.m. in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption, Mr. José Antonio Gázquez Milanés will announce Holy Week in Cieza. He was named a town crier in 2019 by the "Junta de Hermandades Pasioanrias" of Cieza, but, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he was unable to proclaim his Holy Week in 2020 and 2021. Before the Proclamation, at 10 am in the Plenary Hall of the Hon. Cieza City Council, "La Convocatoria" will take place, a traditional act where the "Junta de Hermandades Pasioanrias" asks the Mayor to take to the streets of Cieza. After that, at 10:30 a.m., there will be the Transfer-Processional of the Banners of the Brotherhoods to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption. Upon arrival at the Monument to the Nazarene of Holy Week in Cieza, in front of the Convent of the Clarisas Sisters, there will be a Tribute to the deceased processionists from Cieza. Parade itinerary: "Plaza Mayor, Cid, La Parra, Rincón de los Pinos, Pinos, Larga, Buitragos, San Sebastián, Esquina del Convento, Paseo, Salvador Seguí, Buen Suceso, Cadenas, Barco, Cánovas del Castillo, San Pedro y Plaza Mayor".

At 12:30 p.m., in the House-Museum of Holy Week in Cieza, the reception will take place for Authorities, Town Crier and Nazarene of the Year. After the Reception, the Proclamation will begin in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption.

At the end of the Cieza Holy Week Proclamation, there will be the usual concert of processional marches by the Cieza Municipal Music Band. They will perform the following marches:

- “Súplica”, processional march by Ignacio Sánchez Navarro.

- "Passion and Glory", symphonic poem (Premiere) by Antonio Jesús Hernández Alba.

- "Holy Week Ciezana", processional march by José Gómez Villa.
