This past
Saturday, March 16, the samaritan dreams saw the light... In the darkness of
the Basilica of "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción", on the main high, the silhouettes
of the wonderful sculptural group emerged. In the atmosphere, nerves to resolve
what was in store for Holy Week. And it would be nothing more than an imposing
Step that will go down in the history of national imagery.
The event began
at 7:00 p.m. with the Holy Mass officiated by Mr. José Manuel
Lorca Planes, Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena. Being enlivened by the chords
of Mozart's Requiem.
The event culminated with the blessing and presentation of the new "Santo Entierro" Pass, a presentation that was led by Mr. Manuel Cano and Mrs. Irene Morcillo, brothers of the Brotherhood and excellence samaritans.
As the presenters said: "the wait was worth it". And thak God, the "Santo Entierro" will iluminate the path of the Cieza processionists on Good Friday and the future of Holy Week in Cieza.
