The journalist Encarna Talavera was short of an hour to be able to break down all the news and all the personalities that this Holy Week are going to play a relevant role. Accompanied by her work team and, with the help of her usual collaborator José María Cámara, Encarna was spinning a program where traditions and novelties were intermingled.
It was precisely the traditions that opened this week's program. A very ciezana and very tasty tradition, that of having a good pan-slumber cake for dessert or snack. From the hands of the master baker Juan Carlos García, we were able to learn the ins and outs of his oven to create these traditional delicacies that permeate many corners of our city with scent on these dates. Not only did he explain to Encarna what his job was like, but they were able to see and smell that delicacy live thanks to his kindness, bringing to the program a sample of cakes fresh from the oven.
From the artisan hands of a baker, the journalist went on to talk about the hands of the sculptor Antonio Jesús Yuste from Ciez. The radio conversation allowed listeners to know what his beginnings were, the evolution of his work and what his latest projects are.
Other of the personalities that approached the microphones of the Ser chain that afternoon, was that of the Nazarene of the year, Mr. Antonio Lucas Parra. Still moved by his appointment, he narrated to Encarna his long history of work for his brotherhood and for Holy Week in Cieza. Very subtly, the journalist jumped from a Nazarene of the year to another who was recently. Mr. Pepe Villa Señas. Pepe taught the listeners what his job is like as a young president of a brotherhood as deeply rooted in Cieza as that of the Christ of Agony, in addition to asking him about the ins and outs of an act as characteristic of our Holy Week as El Prendimiento, of which he is he is the ruler.
Since live things are like that, and good professionals know how to do it so well, without being prepared for it, Juan Carlos Montiel Botías, founder brother of the Cofradía de Ánimas, called to the microphones to let him know what is special about it. this unique procession in Spain.
To close the program, Encarna left the last questions for the president of the Board of Passion Brotherhoods Mr. Joaquín Diego Gómez. In these last issues with the President, the reporter wanted to close the circle opened in the other interviews and find out about the latest news that Holy Week in Cieza was going to put on the streets this year. After that, he openly left the microphones of Cadena Ser to D. Joaquín so that he could invite and explain why listeners had to come to see Holy Week in Cieza, to see its processions and acts, in short, to find out in a “ Week” the work of a whole year.
