After a certainly different act since it was broadcast online due to Covid-19, the 2009 photograph, Coronación, taken by José María Cámara Salmerón, was finally chosen for the XXXIII edition to announce the Poster for Holy Week in Cieza de 2021, prize endowed with five hundred euros. The second prize, endowed with three hundred euros, went to the photographer Rafael J. Gabaldón Marín with his snapshot Empieza el Via Crucis, this being the one that illustrates the cover of the 2021 Holy Week Acts Guide. Finally, the third The prize, endowed with two hundred euros, went to Pedro Sánchez Morcillo and his photograph Una mirada amarga, which will be the cover of the Poster announcing the 2021 Proclamation events.
The Decision of the Contest took place at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, at the House-Museum of Holy Week in Cieza. For very different reasons, but above all for social responsibility, the Board of Passion Brotherhoods carried out the act electronically, streaming both on the Facebook page and on the Board's own Instagram account. During the act, 2 videos were presented; a first with all the photos presented and later another with the 12 finalist photos. Before the minutes of the jury were read, it was announced that the winners of this XXXIII Contest would be summoned as soon as the health situation allows for the award ceremony.
From these lines, the Board of Brotherhoods thanks all the sponsors who have made this event possible, as it is a starting point for next Easter.
