The president of the Board of Passionate Brotherhoods of Cieza, D. Joaquín Gómez, along with the mayor D. Pascual Lucas and the councilor for tourism, Antonio Moya, inaugurated last Friday, March 1, the exhibition "Los Malos de la Pasión" organized by the JHP. Also present were the presidents of the eighteen brotherhoods and some of their directors, as well as the general public.
In this exhibition of the patrimony of the Holy Week of Cieza, twelve images of those characters who had an "unpleasant" role in the moments of Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ are presented. In this exhibition, you can see up close some of the figures that on other occasions appear in the background, no less significant, because they enjoy an artistic beauty of great value. Among its authors are prominent names of imagery such as local sculptor Manuel Juan Carrillo Marco, José Lozano Roca, José Antonio Hernández Navarro, José Sánchez Lozano, Francisco Romero Zafra and Mariano Spiteri.
The exhibition will be open throughout the month of March, making it coincide with the flowering of the Cieza fields and all the events organized by the town council around this wonder that nature shows us in our city. Its hours are as follows: Monday through Friday in the morning upon request, afternoons from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
