In an act that began with the celebration of the Eucharist for the deceased of the Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods of Cieza, chaired by D. José Antonio García López, the Holy Week of Cieza 2020 was presented. The person in charge of such a need was the presenter from Castilla la Mancha television, Mrs. Julia Rubio Alarcón. This woman from Cuenca got to know Cieza and its Holy Week at the hands of her partner and friend Jesús Manuel Ruiz, who also presented it a few years ago. After not being able to enjoy the processional parades last year due to the rain, she was able to enjoy her people and the hospitality of the Ciezanos, as she herself recounted in her presentation.

With great self-confidence and naturalness, she presented each of the posters that will announce the different processions and events, as well as the poster announcing our big week, all of them with the information that, as she herself said, her sources had passed on to her. At all times he praised the work that the brotherhoods and brotherhoods are doing with their work and that will soon be rewarded with the long-awaited declaration of international tourist interest.

Once all the posters had been presented, Ms. Julia Rubio announced the name of the person who was to be named Nazarene of the Year. D. Francisco Manuel Pérez de Lema has been the person distinguished with this appointment by the Board of Passionate Brotherhoods. Virtues such as his humility, his unconditional support for Holy Week in general and, at the time, for the Brotherhood of San Pedro as president in certain moments of difficulty, have made D. Francisco Manuel the newly named Nazarene of the Year 2020.

To conclude this act of the presentation of Holy Week this year, a guitar concert was held by Mr. José Antonio Gómez and Mr. Rafael Fernández, who performed the following pieces: Penitente ciezano, Pasa la Soledad, Jesus captive and, to end the event, our beloved Easter Ciezana march.
