On September 8, as is now traditional, the patron saint's descent from her Hermitage to the Basilica of Ntra. Sra. de la Asunción took place. Hundreds of people accompanied the Patroness of all ciezanos from their departure to the Basilica in the town. Around 7:00 p.m., she entered it through the iron bridge, where the group of Choirs and Dances Francisco Salzillo de Cieza, ecclesiastical and civil authorities, as well as a large group of people dressed in typical Huerta costume, were waiting for her.

A procession began through the streets of our town, until it reached the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption, where after a display of fireworks, the patron saint entered the Basilica to celebrate the Eucharist with her already placed on the altar.

Different are the acts programmed to carry out while the Patron is in the town. The child will visit the sick and elderly people from different parishes. This Saturday, September 14, there will be an offering of flowers to the Virgen del Buen Suceso in the Eucharist that will be held in the Basilica of Ntra. Sra. de la Asunción at 8:00 p.m., by the associations of the town that so wish. (they have to notify in advance their intention to participate in it for organizational reasons), the Brotherhood of San Bartolomé, the eighteen Holy Week Brotherhoods, as well as the Board of Passionate Brotherhoods and the City Council of Cieza. At the end of the Holy Mass, the passage of the babies will proceed, and everyone who wishes, by the protective mantle of the Virgin of Good Success.
