With the Solidarity Candles Lent begins

The Board of Passionate Brotherhoods of Cieza, this year 2023, recognizes the Association of Parents for the Promotion of Early Care and the Social Integration of the Child (AEPISMI).

The AEPISMI Association carries out accompaniment work that reduces the state of anxiety and anguish that families experience. For this reason, they intend to maximize their capacities and abilities, in order to achieve a better quality of life for both the person and their family.

Cirios Solidarios is an initiative that is celebrated every year, on Ash Wednesday, the first day of the Lenten period, with an Offering of all the Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods of our Holy Week, with the purpose of bringing these groups that collaborate in our town closer together.

The Solemn Religious Function of the Rite of the Imposition of Ashes, officiated by the Rev. Parish priest and Counselor of the Board of Passion Brotherhoods, D. José Antonio García López, will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption. Next, this recognition will be carried out by the eighteen Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods that make up the Board of Passionate Brotherhoods of Cieza.
