Last Sunday, April 6th, the traditional Holy Week Proclamation took place in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption, a responsibility that this year fell to Mr. Rafael Salmerón Pinar, President of the Board of Passionate Brotherhoods from 1993 to 2010.

Rafael, before a church packed with people, once again reaffirmed his deep love for Holy Week in his town, calling them to his processions and presenting the Nazarene family of Cieza with a text full of historical accuracy, lyricism, and Nazarene spirit that will go down in the annals of Holy Week history in Cieza.

The event was then closed by the traditional concert of processional marches performed by AM Averroes of the OJE of Cieza.
