This morning, and as has been customary for eighteen editions, the traditional day of coexistence of the Children's Tercios of the Holy Week of Cieza took place at the IES Diego Tortosa. This has been organized by the Youth Council of the Board of Passionate Brotherhoods.
The day has been full of activities and concluded, around 2:00 p.m., with the mass and the parade of the children's Image of "San Juan Evangelista" from the Institute to the Corner of the Convent with the accompaniment of the Musical Association "Tal y Cual ".
From these lines, the Board would like to thank the work of the youth members of the Brotherhoods and their collaborators for their wonderful contribution one more year. And of course, he also wants to thank the protagonists. To all the boys and girls of Cieza's Holy Week, our most sincere congratulations.
And like so many other brother stories, the cause of encounters and friendships, there is an image that has left its mark on all of us. Who was going to tell us that in the middle of October Saint John was going to meet one of his beloved disciples. Who was going to tell us that in the middle of "Paseo de Marín-Barnuevo", the young people of Holy Week were going to offer the child's Image of Saint John to the one who interpreted the path of the Evangelist so many times.
Perhaps, after these days of coexistence, each one will have a particular memory. Probably, for children it is the fortune of carrying the Image of Saint John in a time out of time. For those of us who are no longer so, it will be that image of the Evangelist looking and pointing at whoever was, is and will be one of his disciples.
