Last Saturday, November 30, the Convent of "San Joaquín" and "Santa Ana" was once again the epicenter of ciezano religiosity and culture thanks to the ciezano teacher, Mariano Ortiz Sánchez, who has been chosen by the Royal Brotherhood of "Nuestra Señora de Gracia y Esperanza" this year to proclaim the liturgical period of Advent.
Mariano more than responded to the request made by the "Hijos de María", gifting those present with a proclamation full of love and deep christian sentiment, inviting everyone to live this time of preparation with an eye toward the people around us, and instructing us the mission of always seeking the good of others.
At the end of the event, the president of the Brotherhood, Mr. Rafael Pino, presented the crier with a plaque commemorating the occasion, thus closing an event that began with the Holy Mass officiated by the priest-parish priest of "San Joaquín", the Rev. Mr. Joaquín Miguel Hernández Latorre.
The event was attended by, in addition to the board of directors and brothers of the Brotherhood, the mayor of the Cieza City Council and members of the corporation, directors of the Board of Passionate Brotherhoods and the Cieza Brotherhoods, the Nazarene of the year and the crier of the year 2024, among other personalities.
